The JP4 Foundation understands that our baseball community expands further than our Blizzard families.
Blizzard Baseball, Complete Game, and Great Lake Baseball are holding a fundraiser for a family that lost their home to a fire recently. With the help of our good friends at Complete Game and Great Lakes Baseball Academy we are having a “HIT-A-THON” on Saturday January 7th from 3:00pm-6:00pm to help raise funds for the family. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Strantz family in Cottage Grove who lost their home 3 weekends ago. Austin and Tanner Strantz are both members of Complete Game’s fall teams. Their story can be read here.
Here’s how it works: Players pledge to hit 250 balls at the HIT-A-THON. Players get multiple people to donate 10 cents per swing ($25 donation, or more if they would like). Players bring their donations to the HIT-A-THON and proceed to hit 250 balls off the tee, soft toss, or live batting practice. Hitting can be done at Great Lakes Academy, Blizzard Academy, or Complete Game.
Checks can be made out to “The JP4 Foundation” and 100% of the money received that day goes to the Strantz family’s You Caring fund. We hope as many players as possible will join our three organizations in helping this wonderful family.
Email BlizzardFoundation@gmail.com to reserve your spot today! Include name of participants and time you will be coming into the facility.
Again, we want to thank the good people at Great Lakes Academy and Complete Game for their willingness to help us with this! Let’s raise some money to help a great baseball family! Hope to see you there!
