JP4 Foundation partners with Reach for Resources and Matter this Past Weekend!
This past weekend The JP4 Foundation provided service learning opportunities for Minnesota Blizzard Baseball 15U and 16U team.
On Saturday, the Minnesota Blizzard Baseball 15U team spent the morning with Reach for Resources bowling at Park Tavern. Reach for Resources’ mission is to support individuals with disabilities and mental illness to reach their full potential. The Blizzard players spent the morning bowling, assisting players, and chatting between frames.
Coach Mike Jurgella weighed in on the experience.
“A fantastic opportunity for our guys. It was great to see the boys interacting, mixing and mingling with the bowlers. It makes me happy to see the boys learning and growing off the baseball field as young men.”
The next day, the 16 year old team spent the afternoon with Matter packing 360 Go Fuel meals for area youth and community-based partnerships. Matter is dedicated to expanding access to healthy food in innovating and nontraditional ways.
The JP4 Foundation will continue working in the community next weekend partnering with Good in the Hood participating in a Thanksgiving Food Distribution event!
